COI SKYLINES - LINKED CITIES 1.0.2b PUBLIC BETA

Linked Cities lets you build physically separate towns while treating
all player City Blocks as one shared vanilla Settlement economy.

SHARED ACROSS LINKED CITIES

- Population and housing capacity
- Food, water, and wastewater
- Electricity
- Household goods and appliances
- Consumer electronics and luxury goods
- Computing / internet
- Hospitals and healthcare
- General waste, recyclables, and biowaste
- Settlement health contributions
- Unity generation and capacity

REMAINS PHYSICAL AND LOCAL

- City Block placement validation
- Service-module placement slots
- Decoration influence
- Product buffers, pipes, trucks, and logistics routes
- Per-building workers, maintenance, electricity, and computing

CITY BLOCK REMOVAL

Exterior, interior, and bridge City Blocks can be removed even when doing so
splits one visual town into multiple pieces. Unbuilt City Block plans can also
be removed. Attached settlement services remain protected and must be removed
before their City Block.

CITY BLOCK SNAP GRID

While placing City Blocks, use the C.O.I. Skylines button in the placement
toolbar or press G by default to enable or disable the snapping grid. With
snapping disabled, nearby City Blocks can be positioned freely without being
pulled into settlement slots. The shortcut can be changed in the game's
vanilla Controls screen under C.O.I. Skylines - Linked Cities (Mod).

EXISTING SAVES AND REMOVAL

Linked Cities can be added to an existing save. Mature settlements that have
already accumulated part of a month's health or Unity history may wait until
the next in-game month boundary before their first link.

The mod registers no custom gameplay entities or prototypes and can be removed
from a save. Disabling it does not automatically split City Blocks that were
already combined into one ordinary vanilla Settlement.

PUBLIC BETA NOTES

Other placement validation and settlement-decoration adjacency remain vanilla
in this release. Unity fountains and statues must still use their normal City
Block placement slots and influence rules.
