⚙️ Kayser's Compact Aluminum 👨‍🔬

🪨 Turning Bauxite Into Brilliance 💻 🚀

Current as of: v0.7.9 (b495)

4️⃣ Update 4 Information

This blueprint is fully compatible with Update 4.

📋 Description

Kayser’s Compact Aluminium is a compact, efficient, and expandable aluminium plant, designed to carry your settlement from the first aluminium discovery deep into space-age scaling. With its lean design and Starter-Expander blueprint pattern, it keeps investment and operational cost at a minimum, while maximizing space utilization and logistical convenience. Belts and pipes are held to minimum length and tier, with no redundant or idle parts sticking out.

External connectivity has been deliberately simplified: the storage array is neatly organized and easy to connect to. Storages are consistently named and pre-set with suitable alerts. Combined with the failover CO2 exhaust handling, the blueprint is drop-in ready for existing settlements with minimal belt rerouting.

The blueprint structure is simple:

  • A Starter blueprint (72x) that includes the storage backbone and first three production lines, and
  • An Expansion blueprint (+72x) that latches cleanly either onto the Starter or onto itself, adding three lines each time

Up to five (5) expansions can be added, for a total of 18 lines, before the output belt reaches its natural throughput ceiling (432x). A max expanded blueprint is provided for convenience.

No upgrade stages are needed — just place the size you want now, and expand when you need to.

The result is stable aluminium production that is compact, easy to understand, perfectly scalable, and unmistakably Kayser: controlled emissions, clean routing, balanced ratios, cheap to construct and operate, and no wasted space.

With Kayser's Compact Aluminum in place, your settlement will never run short of aluminum.

N.B. Want to use Hydrogen for your kilns? No problem, just switch the tank and recipe, and reroute the kiln exhausts to the smoke stack or to a cooling tower.

⚙️ Feature Summary
  • Compact, rectangular design for minimal space footprint and easy placement
  • Perfectly balanced crushing, mixing, hydration, kilning, smelting, and casting
  • Highly efficient in terms of construction cost, workers, power, and maintenance
  • Readily accessible input/output storages for buffering, alerts, and easy mapping and connection of auxiliary transports — all consistently named and with suitable alerts pre-set
  • Excess CO2 released in smoke stack
⚡ Quick Start Guide
  1. Place the Starter plant
  2. Unpause the storage array, the mixer, and one or more smelter lanes
  3. Connect transports as desired (all storages are pre-set for truck logistics)

To expand further, simply latch on the expansion blueprint. Upgrade transports and add bauxite input belts as needed if expanding beyond six lanes.
