Integrated Petrochem Refinery
User Guideļ¼
Module Introduction:
This module is suitable for petrochemical industry production lines, with the main output product being hydrogen, and also co-outputting other chemical products.
Module Features:
Extremely high building density, high integration, stable consumption and output speed, and minimal external dependencies.
Technology requirements:
Required types of buildings see p2
IO requirements:
Extra input in the startup phase: about 300 units of naphtha Input run: Crude oil 120/60d, water 57/60d Output run: Hydrogen 119/60d, acid 36/60d or sulfur 9/60d, rubber 24/60d, ammonia 9/60d, naphtha 24/60d
Module construction and startup:
Since the module equipment is very compact, it is recommended to pause construction after deploying the blueprint and use cutting tools to proceed with equipment construction step by step to avoid trucks being unable to transport materials. Use cohesion construction when necessary.
In the initial phase, see p1 (cover):
After the blueprint construction is completed, first perform the external pipeline connections. The connections required are crude oil pipeline (top left, two routes), water pipeline (middle right, one route), and naphtha pipeline (bottom right, one route). The method for each pipeline connection is shown in the figure. The module comes with built-in interfaces for petroleum and water pipelines (see p3, p4), while the naphtha pipeline is a temporary one, with the connection point shown in p5 (other interfaces on this pipe bridge can also be used, this is for reference only). These pipelines need to ensure a speed of no less than 60 units/60d, so a primary pipeline is sufficient.
Ignition Phase:
After the three pipelines are connected, the boiler will use external naphtha for ignition and operation, generating high-pressure steam and pumping it to various facilities. At this time, the equipment in the module may experience frequent start-stop operations, and not all refining equipment will be running. This is normal. The amount of naphtha required for the ignition phase is approximately 300 units, and for safety, providing 400 units can ensure complete ignition.
For the stable phase, see p6:
The sign that the ignition phase is complete is that all six distillation towers in the upper left corner are running stably, and the three parallel cracking units in the middle are also running stably. At this point, the module will automatically stop using external naphtha, after which the naphtha pipelines and external supply can be dismantled. During the stable phase, all refining equipment will operate continuously and stably, with no equipment downtime. During the stable phase, all material input and output will be constant values, with power consumption of 3.3MW-3.5MW, with expected fluctuations not exceeding 0.15MW.
Output Overflow and Processing:
The module has output buffers for hydrogen, naphtha, sulfur, rubber, and acid, distributed on the right side of the module. The ammonia output from the module has no buffer. The output ammonia is prioritized for the external pipeline, and if the external pipeline is full, it will enter the module's built-in flare and be burned. The module outputs stable and large amounts of CO2 and waste gas, which can be used for tail gas recovery. If needed, the module's built-in secondary chimney can be removed, with tail gas output rates of: 96/60d CO2, 72/60d waste gas. When the module outputs acid/sulfur, it defaults to acid output, and sulfur will only enter the bulk storage drum when the acid output is full. If sulfur is needed more, you can directly shut down or remove the agitator in the lower right corner of the module. At this time, it will output sulfur, and the module's water consumption will be reduced to 27/60d. When the module outputs rubber, it will take away 3/60d of sulfur and 12/60d of naphtha from the product. If this output is not needed, you can shut down or remove the rubber manufacturing machine, and sulfur and naphtha will merge into the main output port.
Usage suggestions: It is recommended to add overflow destruction at the output points of hydrogen, naphtha, and sulfur outside the module. Product blockage may cause the module to shut down and require restart. The destruction of these three products can ensure that the output never blocks.

Paste it into the game: Blueprints → Import from string. The game fetches the blueprint itself, so the link is all you need.
On an older game build that doesn't take links? Copy the blueprint string instead:
