Modular nuclear power station
Modular nuclear power station
Author: georgius
Description
The modular nuclear power station is designed to be easily expandable with adding required modules. It is designed to be used immediately when Nuclear reactor research is finished and with cheap materials as possible.
Modules
- Module 1: input and output
- Module 2: reactor frame
- Module 3: power channel

You can attach 2 additional reactor frames (totally 3 reactor frames, 261 MW) without any changes. Fourth reactor frame (348 MW) needs to update conveyor belt for uranium ore. Sixth reactor frame (522 MW) needs to upgrade water pipes.
Module 1 - input and output
This module is build only once. Its function is to provide input and output for all resources required by or produced by modular nuclear power station.
Required Materials
| Name | Value |
|---|---|
| Construction Parts I | 444 |
| Construction Parts II | 90 |
| Construction Parts III | 320 |
| Concrete | 500 |
| Rubber | 40 |
Inputs
| Name | Constant (C) | Reactor frame (RF) |
|---|---|---|
| Acid | 0.75 | |
| Rock | 1.5 | |
| Workers | 16 | |
| Power (MW) | 0.12 | 0.015 |
| Maintenance I | 0.25 |
the total input is calculated as: input = C + RF * [count of reactor frames]
Outputs
| Name | Constant (C) | Reactor frame (RF) |
|---|---|---|
| Slag | 0.375 | |
| Hydrogen fluoride | 1.5 |
the total output is calculated as: output = C + RF * [count of reactor frames]
Module 2 - reactor frame
This module is module for nuclear reactor. Each reactor frame can support 3 power channel modules.
Required Materials
| Name | Value |

*produced in Module 1
**including reuse
the total input is calculated as: input = C + [reactor's power level]
Outputs

| Steam (high)** | 96 | 192 | 288 |
*consumed in nuclear reactor, if nuclear reactor is running at full power (power level 3) then production and consumption of uranium rods are equal
**consumed in power channels
the total output is calculated as: output = C + [reactor's power level]
Module 3 - power channel
This module generates electricity from steam produced by nuclear reactor. Power channel module generates 30 MW of electricity. The count of power channels MUST BE equal to or greater than nuclear reactor power level.
Required Materials
| Name | 1 channel | 2 channels | 3 channels |
|---|---|---|---|
| Construction Parts I | 34 | 68 | 102 |

Paste it into the game: Blueprints → Import from string. The game fetches the blueprint itself, so the link is all you need.
On an older game build that doesn't take links? Copy the blueprint string instead:
