Replacing a blueprint

Hello

When I update a blueprint in my game, to fix a mistake or because I found one or multiple improvments I'd like to keep the name of the old one most of the time. Today it requires to edit the current name, copy it, delete the BP, select New, select the new one, paste the name and validate.

Could we have a simple feature to select a current blueprint ine the list, select "Replace" and select the new construction we want as a BP on the map ?

No complex feature of keeping history of versions needed, just replace the old by the new, with maybe a confirmation to avoid mistakes.

Thanks

Thank you, I'm not playing with mods for now. Maybe later.

It's nice to see a mod developper thought the same about it and made what I imagined :)

I still think it could be a simple native feature.

I agree, this would be a very good feature to have, similar to the "replace blueprint contents" feature of Factorio. It might also be nice to have a Factorio-esque "remove elements from blueprint" function, though I don't use COI blueprints often enough to know whether or not that already exists.

That doesn't exist, I also thought about the blueprint editor of Factorio to remove elements from BP, but it's understandable they don't want to copy Factorio either.

And a BP editor seems a lot of work !
