What I mean to say, is that if I right-click on the Linked Storage icon to remove it, one of them is removed. This is expected behavior.

The unexpected part is that if I rapid-right-click on it (it was around 50 when I started)... the number doesn't just go down, but oscillates, sometimes back and forth 3 or 4 times before the removal actually sticks. Somehow, the right-click immediately after a right-click-removal is removing the removal. I am not aware of any other "right click to reduce quantity" fields that exhibit this behavior.
Update 4.2 | v0.8.6c (b612)
Reproduction (I feel like I shouldn't omit this block, even though it's pretty clear from what I've already said...):
- Have a station.
- Have a very large number of identical storages linked to it. This can take a while, as box-select cannot be used to add multiple at once (or if it can, I'm not aware of how).
- Rapid-right-click on the icon in the inspector window to remove them. Autoclickers and/or repositioning my hand for faster clicking were not necessary, and actually seemed to reduce the occurrence of the issue. There's a rate "sweet spot", somewhere around 5 clicks per second (with game running at 3x, might be different at different game speeds).
- Observe the behavior of the linked quantity.
