Gameplay Video Creator & Editor (Part-time)
We're looking for a creative and self-driven video creator to help us produce trailers, tutorials, and promotional content for Captain of Industry, our factory-building and management game.
This is a hands-on creative role combining playing the game, building interesting in-game scenes, recording footage, and editing it into engaging videos.
What you'll be doing
Play Captain of Industry and build visually appealing factories, production chains, and other in-game setups for video content.
Plan and capture gameplay footage that showcases the game's features in an interesting and engaging way.
Edit footage into polished trailers, gameplay showcases, tutorials, and promotional videos.
Create shorter videos and clips for social media, Steam, and other marketing channels.
Work with our development team to understand upcoming features and find creative ways to present them.
Help brainstorm ideas and develop concepts for new video content.
What we're looking for
Strong video editing skills and experience with tools such as DaVinci Resolve.
Familiarity with Captain of Industry or similar games.
A good eye for composition, pacing, storytelling, and visual presentation.
Genuine interest in factory-building, automation, simulation, or strategy games.
Willingness to learn Captain of Industry in depth and become proficient at building interesting factories and scenarios.
Ability to work independently and take a video from an initial idea to a finished product.
Attention to detail and a desire to create high-quality, polished content.
Experience with gameplay recording.
Nice to have
Experience creating game trailers, gameplay videos, or gaming-related YouTube content.
Basic motion graphics, animation, or sound design skills.
Experience making instructional or tutorial videos.
Work arrangement
Part-time, remote, flexible hours.
Freelance / B2B contract.
Workload to be agreed upon based on availability and scope.
