Description
Update 3: Viable Map, Version 1 (U3.V1) Welcome to Grand Mesa! Lots of height and lots of sand—and as Anakin once said, "I hate sand. It's rough, it's coarse, and it gets everywhere." There are plenty of resources, and the ocean borders are quite far from where you start. But fortunately, there is plenty of stone, sand, and limestone as fill. The Difficulty of this map is choosing which platform to level (Heights at 80, 120, 160 and 200) and the starting height of 3 or 4 on the green platform. Constructing your own dirt and making your own fill layers will be the challenge of this map in addition to the distance from the resource patches which are large but decently spread apart. Probably overall Medium difficulty.
Now THIS is pod racing!
Hey mate. Registered just to drop you this comment. The map is super cool and seems like it would be a lot of fun, but I've encountered a problem. As soon as I started mining resources on the slopes, it triggered a cascading avalanche spreading to the sides like a wave. as a result, I'm constantly drowned in surface resources and real resources won't be mined. That alone isn't so bad, I could dig myself out of it. But that avalanche caused my FPS to drop from stable 60 to unstable 5-10, making the game nigh unplayable. Is it possible for you to shore up those slopes in any way?
