Add a Hydrogen Generator

Modeled after the Diesel Generator, but fueled by hydrogen. Could be combustion or fuel cell tech.
The steam stuff really feels awkward in late game.

Can I recommend a gas turbine? Real world natural gas plants produce power by basically having a jet engine that's nailed down. Then the hot exhaust is used to produce steam, which drives turbines.
This should be possible with hydrogen as well, presumably producing hot steam directly.
We also could use a seawater cooling system. Something that takes waste steam and cools it with seawater.

please devs can you add hydrogen generators. Fuel cells in hydrogen cars like the mirai take hydrogen and oxygen, output electrons and water.
This would allow for a legit battery system taking excess photovoltaic electrons, electrolyzing water, and then fuel cell recovery of the energy. The full circuit of green energy.
