Storage level production stop

I think it would be awesome if you could link warehouses and factories in a way that the warehouse tells the factory for example "I am at 95% capacity, stop production until I'm down to 80%". That way, I could have all my furnaces next to each other and have ONE conveyor belt take up all the produce and move it past the warehouses, where the sorters do the rest, instead of needing a separate belt for iron, steel, glass and so forth because it might happen that I produce too much of one which will then clutter up the belt and stop all production until I clear it.
