Cut and Paste in World

I can copy a running building and paste it, then delete the original.
But when I wish to nudge a complex set of buildings just a few squares, I cannot paste until the original is removed. For example when I built my refinery too close together and I need to move everything 4 spaces to fit the balancers.
It would be good if I could cut & paste part of the infrastructure, then wait for the game to remove and rebuild,
