Currently most of the sour water produced is going to the ocean and seriously affecting the health. I would like to see a waste water treatment or another use for sour water.
Thanks

Already in the game.
Just some suggestions here: Turn Sour Water into sulfur, ammonia, and water. The sour water is 120 water pollution, even if you just burn the sulfur it's half the pollution, though you can convert the sulfur to rubber and use it to trade for wood, or maybe other things, and make acid with the sulfur of course to improve copper production.
The ammonia can be turned into fertilizer, or better yet, you can split the ammonia into N2 and H2, H2 is a great fuel source for steam, and N2 can be released into the atmosphere with no pollution.
The clean water can be prioritized back into your water tanks, or dumped in the ocean with no pollution.
Under the "Crude Oil Refining" tab, you can see the "Sour Water Stripper". This building filters the sour water and converts it to Sulfur + Ammonia + Clean Water. Then you can use sulfur and ammonia to produce acid, fertilizer, tofu etc etc..
Check the "Sulfur Processing" technology, you need this tech to build sour water stripper building.
