I think some new production chains for food and byproducts of foodproduction would be nice.
Animalfarm for Pigs: Water + Animalfood = Pigs + Poop
Pigs >> Butchery = Pork >> Delivered to Foodmarket
Poop >> Anaerobic Digester >> Fuel Gas
Animalfarm for Cows: Water + Animalfood = Cows + Poop
Cows >> Butchery >> Beef >> Delivered to Foodmarket
Cows >> Milk >> Diary >> Bottled Milk + Cheese >> Delivered to Foodmarket
Poop >> Anaerobic Digester >> Fuel Gas
Aquaculture >> Water + Animalfood = Fish >> Delivered to Foodmarket
Fishing Port >> Fishing-Boats catch Fish directly from the Sea >> Fresh Seafish >> Delivered to Foodmarket

Or add fish farms, don't know what to use for fish food though.

There is already it, isnt they, guess not if your asking, but they are availibable in COI extended, and they eat meat trimmings, or without produce way less.
