Mega bridges

Make a megabridge. Like brooklyn bridge. Use case would be to connect islands on your map, instead of dumping rock in the sea. Most bigger cities in the world have those kinda of bridges.
It would consume an ungodly amount of concrete and steel to build it - depending on distance. Basically you’d mark the starting point of the bridge and extend it to where you want the end point to. It would animate the bridge depending on the length and show you construction cost as you pull from start to end. Trucks have to build it in sections starting from starting point, so you’d basically see building progress as trucks slowly bring stuff and move across the bridge as it’s being built. Eventually you have a megabridge and access to an island on your map.
Considering you guys are making trains, you could have 2 types of bridges - 1 for trains, 1 for trucks. I’d say the bridge needs to be at least 3 spaces wide on the minimum.

Really need to build huge things like this in stages. First stage get the foundation laid, second get the support set up, third etc.

I've never opened this suggestions page before today. I came here specifically to make a few requests to support trains in Update 3 and this was one of them. Bridges also play well with other suggestions made about water transport as barges would be blocked by a land bridge.
