Mining explosives

Explosives, like in the real world would allow to remove layers of rock and dirt for a more easy access to minerals.
It could be for example an ANFO explosive; Ammonium-Nitrate+Fuel Oil.
We would need three recipies all done in the chemical plant.
1) Ammonium: Ammonia+acid
2) Ammonium nitrate: Ammonium+Nitrogen
3) Explosives: Ammonium nitrate+Diesel
The placement would be done by a special vehicle.
The process is to give an idea and could be changed entirely

The real issue that i see with this is just that it makes the game more complex and adds a repetetive task that dosent actually add to gameplay,
The Excavators mine ores directly, in your case youd use explosives and then mine it which adds an additional step that wouldnt really improove upon gameplay, in real life this is how it works yes and the game is realism based but i think this would just lead to a repetetive task that dosent really improove any gameplay rather makes it more annoying.

I thought about this after making this suggestion, one think that could be added is ground hardness, the deeper you go the slower the excavators mine, this would incentivize the use of explosives to turn the hard rock-mineral layers into gravel and minerals which would be faster to excavate.

Could make explosives as optional supply for excavators.
They can load up explosives from a storage assigned to Control Tower, like in case of planting machines with saplings.
While being used automatically, increasing mining efficiency of excavators by given %.
Excavators keep mining as usual, without any additional player involvement.
