Stationary batteries could be an addition to power systems with large fluctuating renewable generation shares. I would make it a late-stage technology similar to tier I solar. If additional products and resources are to be added, a lithium to battery cell production chain would be a possibility. Battery cells could be a material not only used in stationary utility scale batteries (buildings) but also in consumer electronics, drones and robots, etc..
