Can we add a key toggle to automatically snap the depth of a mining designation to the bottom of the resources in an area. This would make is easier to setup a mine and get to the bottom.

Maybe you could display the depth of the rescource per block so you can plan your ramp more easily in advance? maybe make it into a research goal: ground radar?
