Improve and condense Messages

There is no need to have 4 separate categories for messages.
Condense this nonsese down. We need both a small box in the corner and a large window in the center of the screen that can be openend seperately.
There needs to be a way to turn of indvidual messages. All of them.
I am being spammed by rotting potatoes. I dont care! I have storages full of that stuff.
Additionaly there is currently no way to access (or close) the messages with hotkeys.
Pressing esc while they are open opens the main menu. Thats mind-blowingly bad design.
