Save tier setting from prior game/load

Every time I load up the game I have to do the following:
Select Transport Menu - Select the last tier for every belt and pipe.
Select Storage Menu = Select the latest tier for every storage container.
Is there a way for the save game to "remember" the last tier setting and carry that over on the next load? If not perhaps default to the latest tier vs. the lowest tier.

I already made a bug post for this, because I assumed it was a bug that it was reset.
