Kudos on adding trains, but they’re currently very frustrating to use. Unless I'm missing something, they seem to ignore commands and don't respond to the built-in signaling system. Even when a track section is set to "exclusive," trains will still enter it, sometimes ignoring an available siding that would let them pass safely. My suggestion: implement actual signal lights that trains recognize and obey. If a section is occupied, a green signal should indicate a clear alternate route, like a siding. Currently, trains either move forward or stall. I'd also like to use waypoints or way stops, but empty stations don't seem to work for that. Overall, the train signaling system needs a significant overhaul, ideally with player-placed, configurable signals.

Please consider this! The coloring for train exclusive and no-stop areas are sometimes hard to see. I feel bad for anyone that may be color blind. Having signals and signs on train tracks give a better visual feedback.
