Improved Recipe for Household Goods

WHAT:
An alternate recipe addition for household goods using plastic. A simple addition.
WHY:
IRL plastic has been a really big boon for light industry and consumer use. (i.e. plastic bottles, plastic chairs, and perhaps my spice rack that is mostly empty plastic jars)

The recipe could either reduce the wood and/or steel cost, increase overall yield, or both.
