The collision box for the rail crossing entrances (specifically the road part) is unecessarily large. The road portion of these structures should be smaller or alternativly, be allowed to clip into each other. The image shows the large version, but the behavior is the same for the small version.
I know an easy workaround is to move the tracks next to each other (which is what I'm going to do) but it would be nice if these were smaller or supported "soft" collisions to allow for an area between wide tracks (storage, belt/pipe highways, etc.).
