At some point when doing electronics III, the sand requirements go nuts and getting sand by first filling in the ocean takes a long time and you end up re-digging up the rock you dumped to get to the sand. I propose the following: 1. Copper refining can accept 'manufactured' sand instead of just 'sand'; Technically that process shouldn't really need the silica in the sand like glass and the silicon refinery. This will help clean up copper mines as you get to the edges and end up with a lot of rock to get that last bit of copper out 2. Manufactured sand can be converted into regular sand with a very small quantity of crushed quartz (like 10:1 or 20:1) and chemicals in the mixer with the output being sand and slag. This would help get rid of rocks instead of trading it for fuel gas while also providing an almost inexhaustible supply of sand.
