Dear Captain of Industry Developers,
I would like to propose the addition of new types of mining machinery inspired by real-world industrial equipment. In particular, I suggest considering the inclusion of:
Bagger 288 – a large-scale bucket-wheel excavator, ideal for high-volume resource extraction
Liebherr T 282C – an ultra-class haul truck widely used in open-pit mining operations
Introducing such machines could greatly enrich the game’s logistical and engineering aspects, especially during late-game phases. These vehicles could represent a milestone in industrial development, unlocked through advanced technologies or resource availability.
This addition would emphasize the technological progression of the colony while also enhancing both the visual and functional experience of large-scale mining and transport.
Thank you in advance for considering this suggestion, and best wishes for continued success with this outstanding game.
Sincerely,
Proposal to Add Realistic Mining Machinery to Captain of Industr

An Ultra Class Haul truck sounds like an interesting idea, but not sure it would add much over the current haul trucks, could be cool as a t4 truck though. As for bucket wheel excevators, I'm not sure how they would work in game, currently all excevators have tracks for mobility, bucket wheels, and large draglines tend to use a "walking" mechanism, which is painfully slow. Maybe as vehicles that have to be built on sight? But can't travel outside their minging designation on their own. Such machines are also (not counting dragline excevators) typically unable to dig down very far, and don't like gradients, so not sure what to do about that.
