Once an alert is triggered, the alert will not trigger again and will not auto clear unless the value increases or decreases outside of a user definable "band".
Storages often oscillate up and down by a few 10s(or more) of items. If that oscillation just happens to overlap with one of your alerts, the alarm comes in, disappears, comes in again, disappears, etc.
Add an option for the player to enable a deadband and allow that deadband to have a few options: (+/-10%, +/-5%, +/-25%?). Once the alert triggers, it persists for the alert setpoint +/- whatever, and will only auto clear (Normal state) when the value drops by chosen %. If the user chooses to delete or acknowledge the alert , it will not trigger again unless it moves outside of the alert deadband and then back to setpoint.
