have a bar in the GUI where you can place links to functions of buildings

This is similar to the earlier suggested "favourites" bar.
You can add links to certain buildings to the bar.
The links are programmable, i.e. "go to" or "pause" or "unpause".
And even more one link could refer to a group of buildings, i.e. pause building 1 and unoause building 2.
This would make the necessary fine tunings of the factory more easy.
Background is that I encounter regular fluctuations in diesel and fuel gas amounts. So I often have to pause the chem plants that convert diesel to gas and unpause those that do the opposite. Having to change everything back later.
