Mechanical Shaft Buildings (90s and straights)

I would like to see the addition of mechanical shaft buildings/extras to diversify the ability to build small and large power plants.
Bevel Gears/Angles to make turns or bends. 90 deg primarily but maybe 45s.
Straight shafts, maybe they could be built like pipes, or just 1-2 square straight segments.
These would help build flexible builds, and I could even under a slight drag/loss for very long straights or a touch against 90s/gears.

Definitelly not 45 deg, but 90 degs could be usefull... but if they would loose some power (or require maintenance) noone would be using them anyway. Also those shafts carry a lot of power, so straight shafts are more logical.
Do you know, that ghosts of buildings (or paused buildings) carry power too? If you need to reserve space (for IE another turbine or better generator), just place paused ghost of turbine/wheel and it will work.
