Hello! I would like to suggest adding Bucket-Wheel Excavators (BWE) to the game. These massive machines would be a great addition to the late-game industrial progression.
Key features for this suggestion:
On-site Construction: To avoid logistical issues with moving such a giant machine across the map, they should be constructed directly on-site (at the mining location) through a specialized Control Tower or a construction frame.
Dedicated Ore Bin: The excavator should have its own integrated buffer/bin (hopper) for ore storage. This would allow it to operate continuously while trucks or conveyors interface with the bin to transport the materials.
Massive Throughput: It would be a high-tier alternative to large excavators, focused on massive scale earthmoving and ore extraction.
I believe this would add more depth to the mining mechanics and provide a satisfying goal for the endgame.

It has been suggested several times already. I'm not sure though, if it will fit into those small islands we have, also how much problematic would be mining ores deep bellow.
