Hi COI devs! đź‘‹
Could we get an optional departure condition for Wait Stations that allows parked trains to wake up and depart only when a downstream station actually needs product?
Right now, trains waiting at a Wait Station don’t respond to demand changes unless they’re on a timed loop, which can cause either:
unnecessary cycling / wasted traffic, or
trains staying parked indefinitely unless manually managed.
Suggested options (any of these would work):
Depart when any station in schedule requests cargo
Depart when a specified station requests cargo
Depart when destination has free storage / module empty
Depart when a “request signal” is active (like a boolean station flag)
This would make Wait Stations work more like real rail yards and improve efficiency for multi-drop routes (ex: one sand train feeding two consumers).
Thanks for considering!

Cant you already use the receiving stations for that? Like request train if any module is empty for example. For multiple receiving stations you can group them together and the train will head to the station that sets a request first.
