Damn the consequences - Maybe I don't want to maintain a waste disposal site early on, let me give the fish 4 eyes and my people 3 arms. I'd expect serious health consequences, worse than dumping garbage and slag, but let me do it for the sake of the factory.
Let me dump nuclear waste in the ocean

Given that with FBR you can completelly make rid of nuclear waste, and that storage for said nuclear waste is fairly cheap and small (and can be paused if it is full), dumping it is not necesarry. Maybe just do not go for nuclear then?
Oh I'm fine doing the maintenance on it, I just want the option. Like if you really truly want to you can dump radiological waste in the ocean
