The issue of train operation noise

The sound of the train running doesn't sound like a train at all. I don't know if it's because the surrounding car noise is too loud or if the original sound was set to be like a car. Either way, the car noise shouldn't be louder than the train running sound. Trains should have a unique running sound. Right now, I can only hear the train horn; everything else is drowned out by the car noise. This takes away a lot of the fun. I bought the train DLC to be able to experience the full train experience.
