Playing update 4 on Dragontail map. Along the main shoreline next to the insane difficulty starting island, I'm trying to create space for a rail line that would hug the cliffs and mostly follow the terrain.
For something like this, it would be cool to have bridge construction options that allow you to build flat sections (no start/end ramps) to span small gaps in the terrain (maybe 8-10 landscaping grids). Something like this would probably be best limited to truss bridges as cable-stay is better for long spans.
