Currently, when the shipyard fills up with products, the ship can no longer unload its cargo. The only options for unloading this cargo to the general factory is only 'keep empty'. But unless there's somewhere to send the various products, the shipyard never empties. Without mucking about with settings on various storage modules, and sometimes hitting a wall because all storage for that product are currently full with belts actively keeping them full. The slider system in the settings offers some relief, but the way they try to balance trucks against belts leaves some holes in that process. A specific suggestion. The green and red sliders are exclusive. Setting any 'empty' using the red slider moves the green slider back to zero, and vice versa. They don't allow setting up a range to *absolutely* tell the storage to maintain inventory within a specific range, whether belts or trucks. There is a setting (little bit of yellow plus full green) that works under most circumstances, giving the storage a top-end buffer that is filled by green without allowing belts to take it over. But if there's no demand right now, that only works up to a point. Building new storage units is also possible, but I find that this only results in a dead-end storage pool. You can either have it demand stuff from the shipyard, or disburse it to the factory - but not both, without building a lot of superfluous infrastructure. Allowing green and red sliders to define a range, or an override setting, would be helpful for this problem.

This feels more like a suggestion for the Storages than the Shipyard, but I do agree.
