out of memory exception caused a hard crash
i was just clicking around mining/dumping on the west sand bank
Expected behavior
game crashed

Steps to reproduce the behavior:
not sure it's reproducible as it probably depend on system state. but save game is attached as well as the game log

Hi did this happen after you have loaded the game and previous game already running or happened after a fresh load? What is you RAM size?
i did load a save shortly before this happened (5-10 minutes). only 1 copy of the game was running at the time
task manager showed about 3gb usage for CoI
system has 16gb
I have tried to run the save file on the background and everything stable for me. Not sure what is going on. I would recommend running a memory test: https://www.howtogeek.com/260813/how-to-test-your-computers-ram-for-problems/

after observing the system, i now believe it was simply extreme memory fragmentation: it had plenty free ram but no space large enough to accomodate large-ish requests (10MB in this case). i don't have a profile to prove it, and CoI was the only new thing that had been running for any significant amount of time that could have caused this, but it may be completley unrelated as well
i dont know if there's such a thing as a better memory allocator in C# (ie jemalloc in C/C++), and whether you're using it or not, but we can probably close this one.
