Timegas on discord is having crashing when loading saves on Linux using Proton (wine)
They say they can restart and it works sometimes.
Not to crash

I have had that happening to me as well on Linux using Proton. Game crashes completely. Usually works on the second try. But no clear indication why it is happening.
I experienced some issues like this and they were resolved by switching to using the Glorious Eggroll fork of Proton.
Had same issue first time loading a windows save file into linux. Stopped happening a few saves in.
I have not experienced this since before Update 1.

Confirming my issue referenced above (switching to or from CoI, not a loading issue as in this issue) still present using latest GE 8-16
