Deselect mining zone starts from wrong position

Issue description

When marking mining/dump zone, and quickly right click (or ctrl) and starts deselecting, the start of the square is starting from a fixed position on the map.
It happens alot of times that zones are delected across the map by misstake if not beeing careful, or waiting just a few frames before holding down right click to deselect.

Expected behavior

The de-select square should start at the current mouse coordinates.

Reproduction steps

  • Start a new game
  • Use dump or mining designation
  • Left click and drag some squares
  • Directly after releasing left mouse, hold down right button (or ctrl) to deselect
  • The square origins from a fixed position on the map instead of the mouse position

Game version

v0.4.14B

Attachments

Did not attach any saves, this happens on every game, new as old.
Short clip attached showing the behaviour.

This has been sporadically observed as an unintended delete of zones by several players (including me). This is the first description of how to reproduce it, though.

It seems mouse speed is relevant:
My mouse is a Logitech G Pro Gaming. At the slowest dpi setting I can easily reproduce it now. At the speed I use the mouse with (2nd fastest of four speeds), I mostly fail though. However, right click many times drags the map, which should not be possible in that marking mode.

The fixed position is probably (0;0), map center.

I can't seem to reproduce this. Does this happen in Update 1 as well?

I do not have the same mouse here, would be two months before I could retest properly. With my Logitech M-UAS144 and v0.5.4.a I cannot reproduce the wrong behavior, yet. I am also unable to cause the not allowed map dragging. Which let's me hope it got solved indirectly (map rework, faster UI, Unity update, ...).

I think it's ok to close this one. If errror shows up again, I will open a new issue.
