Since posting, I have reinstalled Graphics drivers, verified they are latest version.
Installed latest version of COI.
I have disabled Anti Aliasing, Vsync, lightning flashes, and turned particles to minimum settings.

No change, pipes still randomly flash when zoomed into them and I pan or rotate.

I'm not able to reproduce but I'll forward this on to the dev team to see if anyone else can track down the issue. Thanks for reporting and the video as well!

Pip Flash
I was worried about that when I was unable to find the issue prior reported.
Since It only started happening in Update 2, I played update 1 with no issues, I'm inclined to believe it is caused by some change in the Update.
The obvious is the pipes change, since that is where the effect happens, and I am unable to get the effect to happen anywhere else.

I also noticed the effect only happens when I zoom in to max, and even more flashes if I zoom all the way in using picture mode.

Attached is a Pic I managed to get.
I was panning and rotating very slowly, the flashes occurred and actually remained on screen till I took the screenshot using print screen.

The main game engine is Unity correct?
is it possible its an issue with Unity and my specific video card?
Did Unity have an Update in the engine between update 1 and 2 of COI that could have caused it?

Should I contact Unity or AMD with this issue?

Or am I getting ahead of myself and need to do further testing with more of the display settings first?
Resolution, refresh rate, more of the rendering settings, etc.?

Also I am happy to facilitate more troubleshooting on my end to resolve this issue.
more videos or logs as needed, etc.
I am also willing to attempt installing and testing of older versions or "test/build" versions as my work schedule allows.
The issue is not game breaking, but it is highly irritating.

This issue is due to extremely high values of colors being enhanced by the bloom effect. It may be bug in our shader, bug in Unity engine, bug in driver (unlikely), or even dying GPU (also unlikely). In v0.6.1 we attempted to fix this problem. Can you still reproduce it? If yes, it would be very helpful to know exactly what pixels does this come from. This could be detected by capturing two screenshots, one with the bloom, one without, but with as minimal camera movement as possible.

Let us know!

As I was taking the photos and moving along the Pipe sections as slow as possible. I noticed that the sections of pipe
that have the horizontal seams are the ones that do all the flashing. The flash appears anywhere along that section of pipe, from vertical seam to vertical seam.

Can confirm that I have the same issue, we have very similar hardware as well so it seems very likely to be an AMD specific issue if that helps narrow it down.

After the fix in v0.6.2 b325 and b327 it has reduced but not completely fixed the problem. The white flashes still happen but they are tiny white dot instead of a huge circle now. Considerable improvement but the base issue for the flashes still seems to exist.

Can Confirm with @RaidSoft [github] Bloom Flash effect still present.
Is greatly reduced, I only barely notice it.

see attached pic for example.

The Dev team is doing great work and I really appreciate it.
You have created a truly great game.

Thank you

Luke
