Unified Foundry
Base Module
For Iron, Steel, Copper, and Glass Smelting
The Unified Foundry provides a single facility for everything that utilizes a molten channel. It is designed for use from mid to end game.
This is the base module of the Unified Foundry. It has 5 furnaces for iron smelting, 12 for steel, 12 for copper, and 4 for glass.
Note 1: Several modules snap on to this to provide additional smelting for silicon and gold. Some modules, however, are termed "upgrade modules". This term implies that some portion of the current design must be removed first before that module can be installed.
Note 2: Be sure to check out the Unified Foundry Peripheral blueprints, which includes ingress and egress transport, and ore crushers.
Tip 1: Start with constructing the pipes, conveyors, and storage first. Then construct the buildings as needed. Tip 2: Upgrade conveyors to tier III as needed.
