Impossible to load my game on Steam Deck

Issue description

Hello,

I have a strange problem when playing on my steam deck. I can't load my game.
The strange thing is it happens only on 1 map, a map i created myself (for sandbox type). On my PC, it works perfectly but when i try to load the map on my steam deck, it stops.
I tried a lot of things like change compatibility, i also tried to load all "official" maps and 2 more custom maps, all of them work great. But not my own custom map.
The problem is from the map loading, i tried to load it with my save AND in a new game: same crash. No mods use.

I will attach the log file and the custom map. I read it a bit and saw that it stops without any reason.

OS is Proton (tests with compatibility set on 8.0-8.5; 9.0; experimental)

Sorry to hear. is the log attached from Steam deck? It seems the log stop abruptly which sounds like it is not crash in the game but in Unity engine. However, no idea why this is triggered by a specific map. I assume you get no error on crash?

Yes, the log is from the Deck. No error message. When I try to load the map, loading begins and after few seconds (not always at same loading percent), music stops. Nothing happens during 1 to 5 mins and then, the game stop, steam also stops and that's all. I can relaunch steam and the game without any problem.

I can understand if you don't try to fix it right now, Deck compatibility probably not your priority right now so i've created another version of the map, smaller with less ore and the deck looks to load it (last try this morning). Just wanted to report it in case other people have the same issue.

If you need any other informations or files, let me know.

Could you try to launch the game with the recently added command line argument --terrain-gen-threads 1? It might actually help here. This can be configured in Launch Options in the Steam client.

Loading was longer than before and with the same result.

Does this issue still persist on the latest patch? Unfortunately the logs do not show any error as this seems like a crash. Could you try to find crash logs from Unity? On windows they are at %USERPROFILE%/AppData/LocalLow/Mafi Games/Captain of Industry/ and %USERPROFILE%/AppData/Local/Temp/Mafi Games/Captain of Industry/Crashes (zipped). On Linux, the %USERPROFILE% is usually something like ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/1594320/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/.
