Sometimes when playing the general game menu is unresponsible. making me unable to save/load change settings during game play. Exit don't work either, so have to alt+f4 to exit.. but not fun to modify/wait for autosave to exit.

I've experienced this bug multiple times too. The game menu appears when you hit ESC but is entirely non-interactable (Eg. buttons don't even respond to mouse hover)
I feel like this triggers more often if I alt-tab out and give focus to another window temporarily (eg. a calculator) on my second monitor during gameplay.
I really wish there was a command or key that could trigger an autosave.
The menu can be opened with the mouse, there is a menu button in the lower right corner of the screen. Check if it will freeze.
