Issue description
When building(planning) a connector adjacent to a bi-directional port, the connector disconnects itself from the port and sometimes replaces itself with a piece of belt after a subsequent section of the belt is built. See images.
The connector does not function properly even if the direction given by the connected belts are the same.
For cargo modules, the issue could be mitigated by replacing the bi-directional ports with one in- and one outbound (which would be consistent with how storages work). Alternatively, prevent placing connectors adjacent to bi-directional ports. However, the latter solution alone would prevent a belt or pipe running tightly alongside a row of modules, as this would require connectors at the intersections. Perhaps both of these mitigations at the same time would be best.
Reproduction steps
- Build(plan) a connector adjacent to a bi-directional port (e.g. a cargo module).
- When the second connection is confirmed, the connector disconnects itself from the bi-directional port.
-
- Upon further extension of the belt, the confused connector converts itself to a piece of belt.
The disconnection issue (1&2) appears regardless if the connected belts are all inbound, all outbound, or mixed in/out. The connector replacing itself with belt (3&4) only seems to happen when there is an inbound and an outbound belt connected to the connector.
