Game crash

I have played 8 hours without problems. Then loading this AM I was able to start playing for about 30 seconds before the game crashes to a white screen and goes back to main start screen. There is an error message about unity ???? but disappears after a fraction of a second so I am unable to get the message detail. Downloaded on Steam last November and have installed updates as they became available, so I believe I have the latest version of the game. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game from Steam and verified the files. All normal. I have an up-to-date Victus Windows 12 laptop with nvida geforce rtx and intel core i7. All of my other Steam games are working just fine. Sorry, I'm an old guy and not very computer savvy to know how to forward the game specifics requested on the other template but can follow simple directions for what you need to help identify the problem. Really enjoyed the game mechanics so far and want to learn/play more. Also paid about 25.00 for the game thru Steam but at this stage I know they won't refund. Please help resolve this issue. Not clear what is happening without crash logs from player.log and crash.dmp. But I would suspect a hardware or driver issue. Is everything updated on your laptop? Does this still occur in the new version of the game? We also updated Unity.
