Reproduction steps

1. Autosave fails to save after first save
2. Manual save fails every time

Uninstalled and re-installed, same issue. No mods or maps installed, saves on first launch, will not save after that

You are using windows 11. I had the same issue.
Check your Defender is blocking the automatic save for COI and allow it.

Search in the start menu Windows Security and open it, click on chronology and check the latest "access blocked folders" entry. click on Allow.

Any news on this issue?

No updates. Still happening with the most recent updates.

Guys, it's your Win 11 Defenter being too zealant. I already posted a solution for this issue, which is:
Check your Defender is blocking the automatic save for COI, and allow it.

To do so, click on the start menu and type "Windows Security", click it to open it, click on chronology and check the latest "access blocked folders" entry. click on Allow. This is not a "COI only" issue.

Instead of posting a brainless "no solution yet", check what other people wrote and follow the instructions provided, then post "thank you the solution worked just fine" or "this did not solved the issue, please investigate."

posting "no updates" it's just useless when there is a solution right over there.

I am not a COI employee anyway.

Except it wasn't windows defender, it was 1 file that failed to transfer properly. Had to completely remove every file from the PC before it would actually work. Instead of being snarky, how about you understand that your solution does not work for everyone.
