Materials from a crusher will not output to a converyor

Issue description

When trying to automate crushed slag creation, I am unable to output the crushed slag to a belt for transport. I tried with several other crusher outputs and also had no success. I rebuilt each part in the process multiple times without success.

Reproduction steps

1. Build Crusher
2. Set recipe to crush slag
3. Connect u-shaped conveyor to the output
4. No output is seen from the crusher.

The conveyor must be connected on both sides, otherwise it won't work.
