Audio effects not working most of the time

Issue description

Trucks, excavators and most machines dont produce any sound in my game. (Though sometimes it stutteres back in for a few seconds, cant reproduce that behaviour sadly, seems random)

Ships are not affected, i couldnt test trains yet.
Edit: Trains also are affected

Does not matter what audio device.

Music is unaffected.

I did try to turn it off and on again.

Your attached Youtube video seems to have no sound at all..

It does, just double checked. There are a few sounds in the beginning. At the end sound sets in for everything again so check out the last few seconds.

Turned the music off for better troubleshooting in this instance.

Updated my graphics drivers and this issue hasnt come back yet. Will keep this updated if it comes back.
Edit: Just happened again for a good while

So the issue still persists, but i found out that if you move the camera to a very quiet part of the island for a few moments the audio comes back. This can also be observed in the originally posted youtube link.

I see. I have watched your video again, it was indeed audible in some parts of the video.

Also, I have experienced this myself now, which reminded me of this bug. Once a save get's larger it looks like the game has difficulties in rendering all the audio in time. The music usually works, but the factory sounds stop processing fully or intermittently. Then, as you say, if you move the camera to a quiet of the island and then back, the audio returns.

So you're not alone. It seems like a bug and this would need attention from MaFi games to resolve.

I have the same issue. Really annoying. Train sounds, machine sounds... they just dissapear for some seconds, then come back for some seconds and so on... music is not affected.
