Missing sound of almost all effects, except train crossings

Issue description

Ever since 0.7.4 the game sound, on some startups, doesn't play at all except the train crossings and some vehicle sounds, but only at a certain camera distance, zooming in closer or zooming out has the sound disappear as well.
