Issue description
I get a brownish screen. Pressing escape or spacebar exits the game. when i press C to copy the error message, THIS is put into my clipboard:

(I have tried launching with no mods installed. same error.)
Reproduction steps
just boot into v.0.7.4. it shuold just get f@cked up.
if its my exact specs, try running it on this:
CPU: Ryzen 5 9600X
GPU: XFX RX 580 (8 GB)
Motherboard: MSI B850
RAM: Corsair 32 GB Kit 4800 MW/Sec (Dual Channel)
