Can't play since last update

Issue description

Since the last update i can't play, i can start a game but as soon as i do anything it close. I just noticed it also happen when i switch to borderless.

Reproduction steps

i start playing and never been able to play more than 5min.

• going borderless instantaly close the game
• i'm on a dual screen and clicking on the second screen also shut the game

I've been playing since years without any issue, i kept investigating and switching to legacy update 3 is giving me the same issue.
I reinstalled the game and nothing changed for now ( going to keep looking for a fix on my end)

Try this:
Disable full-screen optimization: Right-click on the .exe file of the game -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Check the box "Disable full-screen optimization".
Use the window mode without borders: In the game settings, select Windowed Borderless. This is the most stable mode for frequent use of Alt+Tab.
Forced API change: Try adding the commands -dx12, -dx11 or -vulkan to the game launch parameters (on Steam or shortcut).
Disable overlays: Close Discord completely or disable the in-game screen in the Steam/Geforce Experience settings.

That seem to fix my issue, and it allowed me to switch to borderless without crashing going to play a bit more before puting this as resolved but thank you very much for your help in any case
