Unit storage to Unit Storage 3 upgrade bug - Orientation issue

Issue description

when upgrading the storage from Unit Storage 1 or 2 to Unit storage 3 or 4
the upgrade process properly but if you do not oriente the input and output the same way, the storage orientation switch and can even switch to the wrong direction and you then have to dismantle and assemble the storage unit again

Reproduction steps

1. place storage unit 1 or 2
2. place storage unit 3 or 4 on top to upgrade. make sure the input/output show a different direction
3. the storage is now rotated

Make a video, it's not clear from your description. If there's storage 2 and 4, what are you upgrading?

the storage (unit) was input top output bottom, but when i upgraded it to large unit storage. it went from input left, output right as per video
it might be a feature but i was expecting the input/output to stay the same way when doing an upgrade

It's not a bug, you just got the replacement and upgrade mixed up. You can upgrade only from I to II and from III to IV. When you replace or move it slightly with the Shift key held down, the orientation of the input and output ports will be like the ghost you are going to build.

Unit storage upgrades only from I to II and from III to IV. Building another size over it replaces the storage, and the new one takes the port orientation of its ghost.
