Issue description
it may not be a bug, but if so then it seems to be very illogical to me.
Since T3 vehicles cannot cross bridges but keep attempting to do jobs in areas they cannot reach (on the other islands) I decided to zone out my islands to keep T3 and only T3 vehicles restricted to their zones. I wanted T2 vehicles to remain free to roam and do the jobs anywhere because unlike T3 vehicles they can cross bridges.
I tried to implement this by keeping T2 vehicles assigned to the Default zone, assuming this zone covers entire map by default and thus any vehicle assigned to this zone can perform jobs anywhere on the map, even in player-crated zones.
But turns out it's the opposite - the vehicles assigned to the Default zone cannot do jobs anywhere but in non-zoned space. And to me it makes no sense - player created zones already exist to limit vehicles from doing jobs outside of the zone. Not allowing non-assigned vehicles from doing jobs in the zone seems a redundant restriction and serves no purpose.
The only solution form this situation is to create yet another zone that covers the entire map, the all other zones, and assign the vehicles from the default zone to it. But this step seems redundant because the Default zone is already covering the entire map. And more, by covering entire map with a player-created zone the Default zone will become obsolete, because there won't be any space left not covered by a player-made zone.
Reproduction steps
- Create a custom zone
- Create a job within the zone (a storage to unload, for example).
- Watch vehicles from the Default zone do absolutely nothing about this job.
